Home Movies Tribute

Enjoy this serene scene with my favorite kiddos at my local park during sunset. Home Movies will forever hold a special place in my heart (especially since I religiously rewatch it every year). This #ShotOnIphone moment was originally captured because I loved how the sunlight streamed through the trees near this part of the pond. After a recent rewatch of The Party episode (my FAVORITE), I got the idea to add the gang, especially considering how perfectly the ending aligns with Brendon Small’s Sunset Theme (Brendon Small is the creator and composer of the show). I illustrated the characters in Illustrator, then brought them into Blender, where I set them up in the scene using motion tracking and proper lighting.
